Music Performed by Leona Daniels & Min. Leon C. Lewis, Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church
Emerging from a tradition shaped by resilience, justice, and hope, gospel music gives voice to sacred lament and triumphant praise. With roots in the Black church, this performance draws on a lineage where song has long carried communities through suffering toward collective healing. These voices proclaim the power of music to rekindle courage, affirm dignity, and speak prophetically in a wounded world.
