Jewish Bioethics

This workshop will allow participants to study traditional issues of Jewish Bioethics (such as Beginning of Life; End of Life; Organ Donation) as well as contemporary issues (such as CRISPR; Fertility treatment; etc.).
Part One of the workshop will use a traditional Jewish text-study method of Chavruta where participants will, in small study groups, self-select topics, and read and discuss the sources, which will be provided through a booklet of selected texts. The Presenters will be available to help with questions.
Part Two of the workshop will be, in a sense, a conference within a conference. The several presenters will offer guided text study in different topics. The participants will decide which presenter/topic they are interested in.
