Creative Pedagogies: Integrating Spirituality and Religion into Health and Science Education

This workshop invites all educators to explore best practices for integrating religion and spirituality into medical education, including bioethics, medical humanities, and the sciences. Workshop leaders will begin by sharing successful strategies for incorporating religion and spirituality into courses in bioethics, medical humanities, and science and will then invite participants to share their own experiences. Attendees are encouraged to bring syllabi, activities, assignments, and emerging ideas to share and workshop collaboratively. The session is designed for both those who are newly considering the integration of religion and spirituality their teaching and seasoned educators with experience teaching these subjects in medicine-related courses.
